CHeck out our UPDATED COURSES FOR 2024!

STAGE 1

Starting off from the spectacular Durango Mesa Park, riders will sidewind and yellow brick road their way into the Horse Gulch trail system. The suffering begins as you ascend the backside of the infamous Telegraph hill climb. After topping out, you’ll Send It across the meadow and up onto the techy Raider’s Ridge. From the top of black dirt, racers will Surf the Milky Way down to the Stage 1 finish.

Aid Station #1 is located at the Horse Gulch Trailhead after the finish of the stage.

Stage 2

Paying tribute to the one and only Ned Overend, Stage 2 will take place in the legendary shale of Overend Mountain Park. Circumnavigating this fast, flowy trail system and of course ripping down the infamous Star Wars trail, Stage 2 will help you find your flow before making your way over to a rocky Stage 3. For 2024 we’ve added a few extra miles to stage 2, because why not…

STAGE 3

Don’t be fooled by the shorter mileage of Stage 3. Easily crowned the Queen stage of the race, Stage 3 is a brute of a loop in the steep, techy, and unrelenting terrain of Animas Mountain. If you have the energy, take in the incredible 360-degree views, but don’t look too long, the techy nature of Animas Mountain will catch you out. Slightly modified for 2024, racers will jump on to the new Swerve flow trail for some reprieve from the brutal Animas Mountain rocks before descending the the finish at Birket St. Trailhead.

Stage 4

Starting out on the all new Mesa Connector trails, racers will enjoy the new premium singletrack to connect to the bottom of the infamous Telegraph hillclimb, Stage 4 will make you hurt. The reward comes quick though, as you make your way down the backside of Telegraph to the speedy and swervy high desert Yellow Brick Road and Sidewinder before reconnecting with Durango Mesa Park for the grand finish. We heard you, and got rid of the meandering south rim and long road section into the finish…

Same as last year, we will have water at the start of Stage 4.
